A shade below fame and fortune
Most companies use interns like dishtowels. Their only purpose is to clean up a mess and occasionally, a wet one, will be used to put out a fire.  But in the end they are tossed out onto the street.  At PMI we are no different.  Although, you will get those pesky college credits that you need
Audio

Internships in the Audio Department emphasize hands-on, real-world training in our professionally designed Pro Tools/HD audio suites. As a PMI Sound intern, you’ll report directly to our Chief Audio Engineer, who will assign you tasks including session set-up and pre-production, music and sound effects searches, voice-over and music editing, radio spot distribution, and mixing assignments. You’ll observe some sessions when the client and the engineer have given you permission to “sit in.”

When filling out the Audio - Internship Application form, be sure to include

A) A list of experiences and classes you’ve had that are relevant to audio production (i.e.—live sound for bands, formal music training, audio production courses, etc.), if they aren’t featured on an attached resume; and,

B)The half-days during the work week when you’ll be available for your internship (i.e.—Tuesday afternoons, Wednesday mornings, all day Fridays, etc.)
